Good News for Boston Landlords and others in Boston Property Managment

So far 2011 is shaping up to be a very good year for many Boston property management companies.  Occupancy rates in many properties around the Boston area are continuing to increase while vacancy rates are trending toward historic lows. In fact a recent study showed that national occupancy rates on average had increased in March to over 93%.  On top of that the national average rental price also increased in one study over 4% if the year ended in February.  This is terrific news if you are a property management company or a landlord in Massachusetts.  We are finding that many Boston area landlords have done away with incentives such as free month’s rent, gift cards and other promotions that where being used to lure prospective tenants in the past.
